After months (well years) of hard work, testing, more work, more testing, and lots of dedication; we are excited to officially announce that we’ve finished the project build! We really do hope that you like our new website and all the amazing features, as much as we do!

The new SimpleServe.co.uk website will provide you with a range of important and useful information, such as our services and showcasing our recent work. The website has a modern & fresh new look and was designed in line with the latest specifications and responsive properties ensuring you can access the website with the same usability no matter what device you’re on.

What’s new.

The new website boasts a clean design and intuitive and consistent site-wide navigation to help you find your way around with ease. It is also fully responsive with mobile devices, making it easy to navigate on a wide range of web browsers and devices.

Our new website has been developed to showcase our strengths and reflect our brand positioning; a different kind of web development agency. We know that making the website better than before is not simply about giving it a new design, but understanding what you, the visitor needs. We did this by looking at what you said you expect from the website, analysing numerous analytics and carrying out focus groups. We produced our first concepts and tested these with current clients, refining them along the way before launching our beta website.

Progressive Web App.

Progressive Web Apps (PWA’s) are web applications that load like regular web pages or websites but can offer the user advanced functionality such as offline viewing, push notifications and device hardware access, traditionally available only to native mobile applications. PWA’s are an emerging technology that combine the open standards of the web offered by modern browsers to provide benefits of a rich mobile experience.

When we install a progressive web app for you, you’ll get a nice new home ‘splash’ screen, taskbar, or desktop shortcut that launches the app (depending on your platform). The app will load quickly and will include offline support, push notifications, background syncing support and other modern goodies.

These apps can also use existing web technologies to access location services, your webcam and other such features we’d normally associate with native apps. Of course, apps have to ask you and get your permission before accessing these things.

So in a nutshell, when you’re browsing our website if you decide to save it to your homescreen then you’ll be able to view it offline and it’ll load much faster, and look and feel like a traditional app that you’d download from the App Store.
